AbstractA technique is suggested to estimate aerodynamic characteristics for a grid fin by means of numerical solving of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. An effectiveness of the technique is evaluated as applies to design problems for thr grid fin as well as to prelimitary estimation for lifting properties of this fin.
