Abstract

The approach to simulating the dynamics of solar batteries in the process of opening with making use of Euler-Lagrange quasi- coordinate equations is suggested. The most often occurring in practice configuration of mechanical system is considered the central body (spacecraft body) and any number of solar battery «wings», which have the chain type construction. It is shown that the approach enables to write down the minimum dimension motion equation system. The concrete examples illustrate the potentials of the method.
