Abstract

Some organizational aspects are discussed for working processes in a ramjet combustion limited-size chamber. Methods are examined to compress, ignite, stabilize flame as well as to combust a liquid hydrocarbon fuel in the chamber to obtain effective working process in the short channel with moderate total pressure losses. Experimental results are presented to demonstrate combustion of kerosene in the ramjet combustion chamber.
