Abstract

Various mathematical models of flexible cable are considered. These models can be used to design nautical and aerospace towed systems. They allow to analyze steady and unsteady motion modes for towed systems as well as to build control algorithms for such systems.The models can be applied also to conduct analysis of full-scale tests results for towed systems.
