Abstract

A reduction of airframe mass is one of important aircraft design tasks. It is needed to apply modern weight calculation techniques to solve these tasks appropriately. Some approach based on artificial neural networks is suggested to compute assembly masses for transport airplanes. Mass computation for aircraft wing is described as an example.
