Abstract

Some general approach is discussed to implement vibration-based maintenance-time diagnostics for fuel supply apparatus of diesel engines including aviation ones. Main feature of the approach consists in providing a maintenance monitoring of the fuel supply apparatus without its removing from the engine. Appropriate techniques are developed to solve this problem including procedures for vibration-based diagnostics.
