Abstract

Mathematical model for calculation of vibrations of a rotating blade in the transverse plane is developed using the finite element method. The nonlinear and linearized equations of the blade vibrations are obtained assuming that the elastic blade axis is nonextensible. The calculation examples of the response are given for the absolutely rigid and hinged connections of the blade and the rotor hub in the case of kinematic impact on the hub.
