About parameters characterizing a ribbon laying scheme in winding process

Abstract

A mathematical model is developed for winding with continuous fibers laying in the direction of acting force. This winding technique is one of the major manufacturing methods for products made of composite materials. Analytical expressions are derived to calculate parameters characterizing the winding process.
