Abstract

An algorithm for reconstructing a 3D scene given a set of its 2D images from an aircraft is presented. The feature of this algorithm is the proposed method of finding errors in image fragments binding procedure. A camera model is built and equations for finding 3D-coordinates of points appearing on images are deduced from it. A list of parameters required for the algorithm to work correctly is described. The algorithm proposed in this article has been implemented by the authors as a program in C++ language.
