Abstract

Electron motion in a non-uniform magnetic field is studied. It is shown that trajectory branches of cycloidal motion of an electron across magnetic induction vector are not symmetrical relative to the direction of its gradient. This allows more precise determination for the particle gradient drift direction. Mechanism of electron transfer across the magnetic induction vector and effects related to it and characterizing transfer dynamics are shown.
