Abstract

Air transport industry is considered at the level of macro-economic framework within sector management defined its characteristics. The key sector elements having the greatest functional significance were determined. The classification of flows, characterized the modern air transport industry is represented. Here is proposed the classification of formation and development models of the main sector elements, depending on the goals, tasks and functional features. The most important determinants of the models type or the possibility for its change were identified.
