Abstract

Results are obtained for structural materials to assure a prediction their mechanical properties using hardness number. The results are based on statistical treatment of experimental investigation undertaken for the materials. A prediction technique presented is founded on the Larson-Miller criterion. Some possible approaches are considered to evaluate a remaining life for silphon components. This characteristic is computed according to frequency properties of the silphon component.
