Abstract

Subsurface sounding radars are intended for monitoring of hide objects such as subsurface communications, local heterogeneities in soil, leakages from underground fuel storages etc. Radiosounding radars use essentially short-pulsed super-high-band signals, which propagate within media with high degree of attenuation and dispersion. Radio-holographic and spatially-spectral approaches are considered for various kinds of search objects.
