Abstract
The optimal throw angle for a mass point is sought for a case of motion in an environment with a quadratic drag law. An equation is derived to compute an approximate value of the throw angle. Following optimal throw angle calculation values of eight basic parameters are founded analytically. Then these parameters are used for analytic designing of six main functional dependencies for the problem discussed. An example is given to demonstrate features of the technique offered.
