Abstract

Purposes
1. Analysis of restructuring strategy realization of the aviation industry as a whole especially in helicopter
industry
2. Prove working hypothesis that the creation and development of strategic competence centers will improve the competitiveness of aviation corporations, especially under conditions of uncertainty and instability that exist in todays global economy. Identification of unique competencies enterprises comprising a holding may become one of the levers to enhance the functioning both the industrial enterprise and the entire holding
Design/methodology/ approach
Strategic management methodology is used in a part of mission formation, strategy perspective. Opportunities of development strategy aviation industry are considered on the example of holding ОАО «Helicopters of Russia». Influence creation competences centers are certain on the increase of forecasting efficiency for "Stupinsk"s machine-building productive enterprise" included in holding. Degrees and interdependence of restructuring in the aviation industry and creation of business units which coordinate activity of the branch enterprises and the competences centers, defining the contribution of each enterprise. The usage of business models for parameter formation of the competences centers in the machine-building enterprise of the aviation industry are shown.
Originality/value
The necessity of creation centers of competence in engineering aviation industry is shown in article. A hypothesis was formed about the influence of competence centers on the efficiency of industrial enterprises, Business model was developed to determine the contribution of machine building company in the aviation industry job holding, Tasks for the competence centers were formed. Mission and strategic vision , given the forecast efficiency of the implementation the program of strategic change within the competence center " units " of the enterprise.
