Abstract

Analytical relationships are derived basing on mathematical modeling to evaluate aerodynamic characteristics of helicopter main rotor operating near ground surface. These relationships allow to calculate thrust and power for the rotor as well as basic parameters of air stream namely streamlines, velocities and pressures.
