Abstract

Techniques and tools are developed for a structured functional decomposition of knowledge fields. The development is based on knowledge representation technologies. A formalization is carried out for model theory based operational semantics of extended functional model. Furthermore algorithms are obtained for a search of special segments within business processes, including cycles, deadlocks etc., by means of the extended functional model.
