Twisting control for elastic torsion box wing by means of internal adjusted braces

Abstract

A new approach is suggested to control twisting of elastic torsion box wing. The control is carried out by means of internal adjusted braces which are made as steel tapes or cables. A technique to find adjusting tensile forces and length increments for the braces is demonstrated on example related to rectangular torsion box for a wing.
